4 Crew Members Injured In The Span Of 9 Days On The Set Of Louis Koo & Aaron Kwok’s New Movie The White Storm 3
Is the shoot cursed or what?
Netizens are saying that something sinister is going on on the set of upcoming action movie, The White Storm 3, which stars Aaron Kwok, 55, Louis Koo, 50, and Lau Ching-Wan, 57.
Within a span of nine days, four crew members met with accidents during the filming of action scenes.
Now some industry insiders are saying that the film crew may have unwittingly offended the spirits by not observing the proper superstitions on set, while others are blaming it on inadequate safety precautions.
The first accident happened almost immediately after filming started.
According to reports, a car stunt coordinator was crushed by a prop car while filming a high-speed chase at the Tsing Yi Dockyard.
The second occurred when they were filming a plane crash scene. Half the scaffolding was supposed to be blown up but instead the entire scaffolding collapsed and three stuntmen, who were believed to be on the side which was supposed to remain stable, fell and were pinned under the structure.
White Storm 3's production company has since said that none of the injuries suffered by the crew are serious and that they are recovering well.
Hongkong media have also reported that the cast and crew of the movie have been seen offering joss sticks at the filming locations after the accidents apparently to appease the spirits so no further accidents will happen.
