Burger King’s Korean-Inspired “Dynamite” Spicy Chicken Burger Is Seriously Hot
8days.sg samples the new K-style range, which includes fiery drumlets.
The K-Wave onslaught across the world continues — even in the fast food realm. Enter Burger King’s limited-edition Korean-inspired menu. It includes the Ultimate Cheesy Dynamite Tendercrisp Chicken burger, Cheesy Dynamite Nuggets, Cheesy Dynamite Fries and Dynamite Shake. All slathered in a spicy Korean ramyeon-inspired sauce . Sounds like a K-razy amount of cheese and spice.
Partnering with Deliveroo, Burger King will launch these new dishes via the delivery platform on September 17 and later on September 21 at all of its restaurant outlets.

Despite its innocuous looks, this burger caught us off-guard with its fiery punch — it was pretty tongue-searing for folks like us with a lower tolerance level for spice. The sweet-salty sauce coating the crispy, tender chicken patty is like a slightly milder version of the Samyang range of Korean fire instant noodles that has a reputation for being hella hot.
The creamy American and Nacho cheeses draping the burger patty added some balance, but it didn’t quite tame the burning sensation on our tongue. Only worth ordering if you’re a spice fiend.
Chicken drumlets are coated with more of that spicy sauce in BK’s version of Korean fried chicken. This is even hotter than the burger, thanks to the greater sauce-to-meat ratio here. Prep lotsa water.
Fries drenched with the same sauces used in the burger. Sweet, salty, spicy, potato-y.
Nine chicken nuggets paired with spicy Korean and nacho cheese sauces. The sauces here are packed separately unlike in the drumlets and fries, so you can control the amount of heat you’d like.
Available at all BK outlets from Sept 21, and Sept 17 via Deliveroo, while stocks last. www.burgerking.com.sg.
