McDonald's Launching New McPepper Burger & Chicken Scrambled Egg Burger
The McPepper will be available as a $5 Extra Value Meal.
McDonald's announced today (Sept 1) that it is launching a new burger on Sept 2 — the McPepper, which comes with two tender beef patties coated with sweet, spicy black pepper sauce and topped with diced onions all between caramelised buns .
The McPepper will also be wallet-friendly; you can get the McPepper Extra Value Meal from $5, which has the burger with medium-sized French fries and a small-sized Coke. Top up $0.30 to upgrade your fries to Crisscut Fries, or go for the limited-edition McPepper Feast, which comes with the crisscut fries, an Apple Pie and Coke.
Sounds like the popular Beef Prosperity Burger, except you don't have to wait till Chinese New Year to order it.
Other than the McPepper, McDonald's is also bringing back its Sausage Scrambled Egg Burger. Previously available in two flavours, Sausage and Chicken Bacon, the fast food chain has swapped out the chicken bacon for a new Chicken version with a fried chicken patty that appears similar to the McChicken burger.
Each burger (from $4.10 a la carte) comes with a patty, scrambled eggs, cheddar and mayonnaise sandwiched between steamed buns. You can also enjoy it as a meal with Hashbrown and a hot McCafé Premium Roast Coffee.
