First Look: Gram Pancakes’ 2nd Outlet With Hershey’s Lava Choc Soufflé Pancakes
The new outlet will also offer a range of all-day breakfast dishes, donburi and pasta.
Osaka’s Gram Cafe & Pancakes first arrived in Singapore in 2019 with an outlet at VivoCity. Famous for its ethereally jiggly soufflé pancakes, it’s now opening a second local branch on July 12, 2021. The brand was brought in by three Singaporeans under a franchise arrangement, and attracted hours-long queues when it first opened.
Located at Waterway Point in Punggol, Gram’s new cafe will sport a Japanese ‘Garden of Eden’ theme, with a dramatic keyhole arch, green plants and an Instagrammable photo corner with a neon sign and loveseat.
As the cafe is currently still under renovation, here are some rendered photos of the upcoming space:
The second outlet will offer an exclusive Hersey’s Premium Chocolate Lava Pancakes ($20.90), for a limited period of just three months. Hershey’s chocolate is mixed with the meringue batter for Gram’s signature soufflé pancakes, which will also have an oozy lava chocolate centre. The pancakes are served with house-made whipped cream, butter, Hershey’s choc sauce and Hershey’s kisses.
There are also three new pancake flavours on the permanent menu, which you can see below:
Signature soufflé pancakes drizzled with Hershey’s chocolate sauce, and topped with whipped cream, strawberries and half a caramelised banana.
Soufflé pancake stack with Lotus biscoff sauce and crumble, whipped cream, strawberries and blueberries.
Pancakes with fresh mango cubes, purée and mango sauce.
There’s also a selection of savoury all-day breakfast dishes like the Japanese-style Pan Fried Togarashi Pink Salmon Fillet (S$20.90), which has a crispy salmon fillet served with grilled potatoes, mushrooms and lemon butter sauce.
If you’re feeling just a little peckish, you can also get a range of Mini Dons (from $7.90 to $11.90). The petite-sized rice bowls are topped with ingredients like Sliced Wagyu Beef Fillet with an onsen egg and white truffle purée, Roasted Unagi Fillet with scrambled eggs and sake-infused shoyu, plus other options with Chicken Karaage, Golden Tempura Ebi and Togarashi Pink Salmon Fillet.
There are also Bento Sets (from $13.90 to $15.90), which is like an upsized version of the mini dons with two types of proteins in a bowl.
Pasta is served at the new outlet too, like Wagyu Beef Sukiyaki Pasta ($11.90) with an onsen egg and bonito flakes and Golden Red Miso Prawn Pasta ($10.90) with a tiger prawn and tobiko.
To celebrate its opening, Gram is giving away a fluffy pancake stack plushie to the first 50 customers at the new outlet. Folks who order the Hershey’s choc lava pancakes from July 12 to 18 will also be able to top up 10 cents for a Passionfruit or Strawberry Fizz beverage.
