Hope you’re not on a diet, because McDonald’s just announced that it's launching a new Purple Sweet Potato Waffle Cone (from $2) on May 30. The sweet potato soft-serve cocoa cone is one of two new desserts to be introduced in their latest launch; the other is a Kit Kat McFlurry (from $3.10) that was previously available only in Malaysia and Bahrain. Both sound promising and perfect for our current scorching weather.

If you like McDonald’s Shaker Fries, here's even more exciting news: there will also be a new French Onion flavour (top up $0.70 with an order of an Extra Value Meal). Sounds yummy. And for folks who can’t eat their fries without curry sauce, the fast food chain has got you covered too: for a limited period, it is bringing back its addictive 375ml Curry Sauce Bottle ($5.50) which you can squeeze over your fried potatoes to your heart’s content in the comfort of your home.

Thinking of stocking up on curry sauce? Here's the caveat: each customer can only buy a maximum of four bottles with every a la carte order of McNuggets, an Extra Value Meal or a Happy Sharing Box.

And here’s one more thang for you to pour that curry sauce over — the Spicy Chicken McNuggets (from $4.85 for six pieces a la carte), which McDonald’s first launched in 2011, which is also making a comeback on the menu.

The Purple Sweet Potato Waffle Cone will be available exclusively at all McDonald’s dessert kiosks from May 30, while the Kit Kat McFlurry will be available at all McDonald’s restaurants & dessert kiosks islandwide, plus via McDelivery. This was last available in Hong Kong, but on an Oreo-flavoured waffle cone while this is just a plain crispy waffle cone. Oreos would've been great, but we're still pretty stoked this delicious-sounding soft-serve ice cream is finally available here.

Vanilla soft-serve ice cream is swirled with chocolate sauce and crunchy Kit Kat Bites served in a McDonald’s co-branded McFlurry cup .

These onion-scented potatoes are also brand new to the menu. Available with any upsized Extra Value Meal, while stocks last.
