Times are hard, and we could all do with a sugar daddy. The kind that sells sugarcane juice, and is an actual hawker stall named Sugar Daddy. The new biz officially opened on Jan 22 this year, and serves a range of sugarcane beverages in uncommon flavours like ginger and lemongrass. It also has a selection of sugarcane juice mixed with fruit pulp.

According to its Facebook page, the stall appears to be owned by the folks behind a Japanese restaurant chain called Kofuku, which has outlets in Bukit Batok Crescent, Pasir Ris Close and Boon Lay Way. Sugar Daddy is also located at Bukit Batok Crescent, next to a mookata stall in an industrial building called WCEGA Plaza.

Prices start from $1.80 for a cup of classic Sugarcane, while the Ginger, Lemongrass, Lemon and Plum flavours go for $2.20 each. You can also get the above flavours in an upsized Tower (from $7 to $8.50), plus a selection of sugarcane drinks mixed with fruit pulp like Passionfruit, Mango and Longan ($3.50 each).

But parents, you may want to keep your kids away from this Sugar Daddy, and it’s not just because of the sugar. The stall has unabashedly raunchy marketing, with a logo of a muscular man in the throes of pleasure and a tagline that goes: “Pleasuring you with sugarcane” (er, we’ll leave the visualising to you).

It also advertises its strawberry-flavoured sugarcane drink like this:

It also somehow manages to make the innocuous lychee purée in its Lychee Mix ($3.50) look so sexual, we had to mosaic the above photo.

Incidentally, if you’re still reading this, you can get two cups of Lychee Mix at a promotional price of $5 (usual price $7 for two). But you'll have to show the above Facebook post to the stall staff and try your best not to come across as creepy.

Netizens were titillated, with one enquiring about whether the stall had any cherry purée (which is red, goopy and looks like…)

Some also questioned the stall’s audacity:

For CNY, the stall is offering a Pineapple Sorbet with Fruits ($3 a bowl). According to the shop, it’s a “special edition Ong Lai (pineapple) sorbet [topped] with our balls”. Jelly balls, we hope.
