Old Chang Kee Launches Hae Bee Hiam Chicken Puff For Chinese New Year
Actual spicy prawn rolls will be available too.
If hae bee hiam rolls are some of your fave Chinese New Year snacks, you’re in luck. Old Chang Kee has launched a spicy limited-edition Hae Bee Hiam Chicken’O puff, and is bringing back an annual old fave, its Golden Crispy Prawn Rolls. The former is available till 28 Feb and the latter while stocks last.
Eat this, and you would, as the brand would have you believe, have a “Hae bee (happy) and prosperous Chinese New Year”. The spicy puff is stuffed with hae bee hiam — minced dried shrimp fried with sambal, belacan and other spices — plus chicken. Sounds promising. You can snag two for $3.60.
Available till 28 Feb at all Old Chang Kee outlets, while stocks last.
This isn’t quite new — Old Chang Kee offers the crispy hae bee hiam-filled flour rolls each Chinese New Year. It’s cheaper at $30 for two tubs.
Available from 15 Jan at Old Chang Kee, Curry Times & also via food deliveries on Grab Food, FoodPanda & Deliveroo, while stocks last. www.oldchangkee.com.
