HK Actor Benz Hui’s Daughter Charmaine Spent Over S$1mil On Her 2 Bakeries In Singapore
Benz told Hongkong media that while he hasn’t recouped his initial investment in his daughter's business, it doesn’t matter as he wants to support her in her career.
Veteran Hongkong actor Benz Hui's 25-year-old daughter Charmaine recently opened the second outlet of her Bakeaholic café at Wheelock Place.
In an interview with Hongkong media , Benz, 73, revealed that he has not recouped his initial investment in Bakeaholic's original Springleaf branch before opening the second outlet.

“It doesn’t matter to us how much [Charmaine] makes. Most importantly, she’s working hard at the career that she’s chosen and towards her own achievements," said Benz, who is a Singaporean PR.
Charmaine, who was born in Singapore because of her Singaporean mum, added that the total amount that they have put into the business is “HK$6-7mil", which works out to be about S$1-1.2mil, and she and her dad have plans to open a third outlet selling specialty snacks.
She started her home-based bakery when the pandemic disrupted her plans to enroll for her master’s degree in the UK.

The entrepreneur is engaged to a 27-year-old Singaporean who is set to graduate from The Hong Kong University of Science And Technology this year.
