JJ Lin Plugs Upcoming Interview With Health Minister Ong Ye Kung; Netizens Talk About The Star’s Hair (Again)
The next episode of Mediacorp talk show A Conversation with Minister will also feature Senior Minister of State for Manpower and Health, Dr Koh Poh Koon.
Since coming home to Singapore in July to get vaccinated, JJ Lin has been filling his time with all kinds of fun activities, such as cafe-hopping, tucking into his favourite hawker centre fare and cycling around the island with his buddies.
However, the 40-year-old hasn’t forgotten his duties as a public figure and will be appearing on the next episode of Mediacorp talk show A Conversation with Minister to discuss the pandemic with Health Minister Ong Ye Kung and Dr Koh Poh Koon, who is the Senior Minister of State for Manpower and Health.
According to a press release, some of the topics that will be addressed include: How COVID-19 has affected JJ’s daily life, his plan for living with COVID-19, how confident he is when he does an ART swab on himself, and how self-testing and the Home Recovery Programme work.
On Thursday (Oct 21), JJ took to his socials to excitedly tell fans about his upcoming appearance and shared a few photos of himself with Minister Ong.
“Living in covid (sic) times has been difficult for us all, but I’m glad we sat down together to hear one another out,” wrote JJ.
Dr Koh also posted a shot of himself with JJ, gushing about being a fan of the Mandopop star’s songs “for several years” and how glad he was to finally get the chance to meet him.
However, netizens being netizens seemed to pay more attention to something completely unrelated: JJ’s hair, or more specifically, his freshly chopped fringe.
Seriously, what is it about his tresses that gets people talking again and again?
Comments about his crowning glory include: “What’s wrong with your bangs?”, “Your hairstyle is the highlight to me”, “I can only see your cute bangs”, “Your bangs look strange but still cute”, and “Let me adjust your bangs for you”.
A Conversation with Minister 2021 Episode 3: Living with Covid airs this Sunday (Oct 24), 9pm on Ch 8 and meWATCH.
