Joanne Peh Thanked Her Kids For Reminding Her To “Be The Person [She’d] Like Them To Be” & Other Celeb Kids We Got A Glimpse Of On Children’s Day
Wait, no celebrity baby pics this year?
Children’s Day, which falls on the first Friday of October every year, was celebrated recently on October 8.
And thanks to the pics shared by these proud celeb parents to mark the occasion, it shines a spotlight on their too-cute-for-words kids.
Now isn’t this the cutest? Joanne, 38, posted a series of snaps featuring her two kids with fellow actor Qi Yuwu, 44, and they are absolutely adorable.
And, is that the clearest picture of their six-year-old daughter, Baby Qi, to date or what?
Apart from showing off the activities Baby Qi and Qi Didi, four, have been busy with, Joanne also penned a short caption expressing her gratitude to them.
I thank my children for the opportunities they’ve given me to grow and learn. They remind me to embrace the child in me, to be the person I’d like them to be,” she wrote, before going on to add that she hopes they would be able to live healthy and continue to develop tenacity and the resilience that will see them through in the ever-changing new world we’re in.”

Just like Joanne Peh, it looks like former Mediacorp actor Vincent Ng, 45, is very much a fan of holistic development, with the wushu star posting a picture of his three-year-old son, Zander very bravely feeding a chicken.
“While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about,” he wrote, sharing a quote from parenting coach Angela Schwindt.

Cheryl Wee, who is the daughter of beauty maven Jean Yip and the founder of Cheryl W Wellness & Weight Management, shared this snap of her two older kids, Marc, three, and Emma, two on her Instagram.
The 34-year-old, who’s currently pregnant with her third child, wrote: Happy Children’s Day my loves .You show us innocence and pure joy through your smiles. You’re quick to forgive and smile again. Marc, Emma and baby3 (sic), you show us heaven on earth every single day.”
We can't wait to see what Marc and Emma's reactions will be when they meet their new baby sibling.

Singer Tay Kewei, 38, shared this cute pic of her two sons with her singer husband Alfred Sim, 40, in twinning outfits.
And of course, netizens couldn’t help but gush over how adorable Momo, three, and Xiao Pian Pian, one, looked, with Momo holding on tightly to his younger brother’s hand.
“Happy Children’s Day to my sons of the earth. Don’t leave your youthful innocence behind, and grow up in the blink of an eye,” Kewei wrote, echoing the thoughts of all parents.

Looks like the two-person dining restriction made it perfect for Lina Ng, 47, and her youngest son, Samuel, to go on a mother-son date for Children’s Day. After all, her two older sons don’t technically celebrate Children’s Day anymore, since they're teenagers now.
Lina has three sons with her husband, former national bowler Mike Lam — 17-year-old Jeriel, 15-year- old Joel and 10-year-old Samuel.
