Cute #SG54 Merch You'll Want To Use Beyond National Day 2019
Creative, cute, funny and cool — these products specially designed for Singapore's 54th birthday make us wish it was National Day all day, every day.
Red, white, punny, creative and thoroughly Singaporean. We want all can or not?
These gave us a good chuckle. Special love for the Bedok one 'cos this 8days.sg writer is a lifelong Bedokian. And if you don't geddit, are you even Singaporean? Or maybe you never take MRT before?

You know one of Korean skincare brand Innisfree's most popular products contains Jeju Orchid, right? So when they collaborated with local design label WHENIWASFOUR, known for its quirky local-flavoured knick knacks, on a series of limited edition collectibles to celebrate National Day, the Jeju Orchid jar has to be featured, along with two other cute enamel pins featuring Innisfree's other iconic products, the Green Tea serum and Volcanic Clay mask. There's also an adorbs limited edition pouch with all kinds of nostalgic Singaporean memories. With a minimum spend of $68 in August, get the complete limited edition set free. There's also a pop-up showcase with WHENIWASFOUR at the innisfree VivoCity Store from August 1 to 26 August.
Sticker Lady strikes again, but this time, she isn't decorating your grandfather's road, but a Casio G-SHOCK GX-56BB watch. Sam Lo, aka SKL0, the artist infamous for getting arrested for spray painting the words My Grandfather Road on Maxwell Road and Robinson Road in 2011, has collaborated with the watch brand to create a special design limited to 300 pieces. The band of the black GX-56BB features a colourful mix of motifs inspired by Singapore’s cultural melting pot. We like the triumphant Majulah on the band, as well as the unexpected ethnic design and hues. But where are the stickers? (heh heh)
From all G-SHOCK Boutiques (except IMM) from 27 July.
When it comes to National Day, there's no need to be subtle, right? Wear it loud and proud, and red and white. The Starbucks Shiok-ah-ccino is back, with a new recipe inspired by — wait for it — our iconic Singapore ice cream sandwiches. It's a smooth vanilla cream Frappuccino blended with chocolatey chips, served with a waffle crisp and a Shiok chocolate topper — cute! There's also a new menu of Very Shiok Food featuring reimagined Singaporean flavours, such as Laksa Croissant Bowl and Satay Chicken Roll. You can also get a free Shiok reusable straw and straw clip set with any Venti-sized Shiok-ah-ccino purchased (while stocks last).
Inspired by Peranakan shophouses. Spot the Starbucks iconic signature cup in the designs.
In a dome lid with fun moveable parts, you can find the dragon, pelican and seahorse playground icons. Too nostalgic, too cute.
Snow in SG? Never say never. Also, how unexpected and retro is the Peranakan tile bottle?
