Daiso S'pore Launches New Online Store With $5 Delivery Fee
You also have to buy at least five products per order.
Good news for Daiso fans — you can now shop at the popular $2 lifestyle goods chain in the comfort of your own home. It has launched a new online store which went live today (Jan 18). A shrewd move, we say, considering how crowded its outlets can get especially on weekends.
It will cost $5 to get your order delivered via Ninja Van. But there's a minimum purchase amount of five items.
Not that it's hard to buy at least five items from Daiso — the online store currently has 25 product categories like Cleaning Supplies, Kitchen Tools, Personal Care and Stationery. The only conspicuously missing category is Food (what's a Daiso store without tidbits and Japanese cooking ingredients?)
At the moment, the new website has only 430 products listed on it. A far cry from the tens of thousands of knick-knacks that its stores offer, but we expect to see more products popping up in the future. The most well-stocked category now appears to be Cleaning Supplies, which is pretty apt for our current times. Daiso has 24 brick-and-mortar stores in Singapore, and recently opened two new branches at Marina Square and Canberra Plaza.
