No Need To Travel To Shop At Lotte Duty Free, Which Takes Over Liquor & Tobacco Concession At Changi Airport
Get set for June 12.
Lotte Duty Free is the new liquor and tobacco concessionaire at Changi Airport, taking over the DFS Group, which pulled out after its 35-year tenure ended this year. Renovations on Lotte’s stores at Changi Airport will take place in phases, in line with Singapore's Covid-19 measures, beginning with Terminals 1 and 3. But you don’t have to wait till its physical stores are ready before you shop.
Lotte will first retail online at iShopChangi.com, before its brick-and-mortar shops open. And to kick things off with a bang, Lotte will offer a seven per cent discount on a range of products from June 12 to 30, in addition to tax- and duty-absorbed prices. On top of that, you get a five per cent discount voucher for your next purchase in-store.
It may be a while before we get to shop at Lotte’s 18 physical stores which will span over 8,000 sqm across Changi Airport’s four terminals. But here’s a teaser of what to expect when we eventually do. In the pipeline are a specialised cognac brand boutique, dedicated immersive zones highlighting whiskey, gin and wines, and a high-tech tasting bar. In-store offerings will include over 3,000 tax- and duty-free wines and spirits, exclusive brands and limited edition whiskies and cognacs, and a dedicated section of Asian spirits highlighting Singapore and Korea brands.
