If you’ve always wanted to live life like a video game, consider heading to the world’s first Angry Birds theme park, which boasts over 20 spectacular rides, including a supersized slingshot ride that looks equal parts hilarious, thrilling and scary. Who knew Angry Birds could evoke so many emotions?

The 17,000sqm theme park opened in the Doha Festival City in Qatar three months ago.

From afar, the 42m-high Super Slingshot Tower makes for a great Instagram backdrop.

Thrill-seekers are catapulted up to 60m high, or about the height of a 20-storey building. Gulp.

Not a fan of heights? Satiate your need for speed on land at the go-kart track, purportedly the first indoor/outdoor karting track in the region.

Twists and turns galore.

Besides rollercoaster rides, the park also boasts outdoor adventures like a 106m-long zipline.

Chill out at the pool area fashioned after the Angry Birds movie, and aptly named the Bird Bath.

You're spoilt for choice when it comes to great photo opps, even in the little alleyways.

Do like your fair-feathered friends and have a blast at the trampoline park which spans 1,300sqm.

Indoor attractions include a bumper cars arena.

...On this drop-and-twist tower sends you free falling from a height of 11m.

There are over 70 games at the indoor arcade. No word on how many coupons you'd need to win to take home an actual Angry Bird mascot.

Your munchkins are too little to go on the rides? Take them to the Big Tree attractions which have a host of activities such as music, art and science workshops for kiddos.

Kids and kidults alike can duke it out in a laser tag game.
