Quiz of the week

How well do you know the news? Test your knowledge.

Prints and patterns proved to be favourites among celebs like Fann Wong, Jeanette Aw and Qi Yuwu this week. Meanwhile Zoe Tay and Chantelle Ng wowed in feminine frocks, and Sheila Sim and Desmond Tan showed us how to ace wet weather dressing like a pro.

1 of 20 Fann Wong

We’re in love with the old-meets-modern appeal of Fann’s qipao-inspired dress by Shanghai Tang. It's sleek and extra feminine.

2 of 20 Lawrence Wong

Okay, so Lawrence's plaid set looks like pyjamas, but you gotta admit he looks pretty cute in it. Our favourite part? The insect-like embellishment on his shirt pocket.

3 of 20 Jesseca Liu

Jesseca went tone-on-tone, styling a crisp white shirt dress with matching sliders that looked simple yet stylish. Her Loewe balloon bag injected a jolt of colour to her outfit.

4 of 20 Zoe Tay

We love how charming Zoe looks in that frilly peekaboo dress, which is equal parts feminine and flirty.

5 of 20 Jeanette Aw

Looking sweet and chio is Jeanette in a paisley ensemble by Etro. We love that the raw hemlines ooze attitude and add a hint of rebellion to her look.

6 of 20 Qi Yuwu

Never mind that Yuwu’s hairstyle reminds us of a lion’s mane, at least the award-winning actor told a bold fashion step this week. His vintage-looking printed shirt from Valentino gave us major swinging sixties vibes.

7 of 20 Chen Xiuhuan

Coupled with the background, Xiuhuan looked breathtakingly beautiful and princess-like in this off-shoulder pink frock. The train made her OOTD look even more dramatic and dreamy.

8 of 20 Carrie Wong

We’re not the only ones loving the sweater weather. Carrie’s printed knit, black pants and slippers make for a cool and comfy set to wear on weekends, brunch dates or when you’re running errands.

9 of 20 Chantelle Ng

Every girl needs a little white dress and Chantalle looks gorgeous in hers. We like how the pleated minimalist design exudes an air of understated elegance.

10 of 20 Sheila Sim

Decked in a rainy day “playsuit” that comprised of an army green parka and rain boots, Sheila showed us how to ace wet weather fashion like a pro.

  • 11 of 20 Desmond Tan

Also layering up was Desmond who opted for a long, lightweight trench coat to dress up his simple white tee and jeans combo.

  • 12 of 20 Jamie Yeo

There’s nothing we don’t love about Jamie’s reversible top from Faire Belle. It features two different designs in a single piece, giving you extra style mileage and of course, bang for your buck. BRB, adding to cart stat.

  • 13 of 20 Cynthia Koh

Cynthia paired her dark blouse with a pair of wide leg leather pants which drips attitude and adds style points to her ensemble. We’d gladly wear this combo for the back-to-office days ahead.

  • 14 of 20 Tong Bing Yu

We can’t agree more with Bing Yu’s caption: “Sometimes, dressing up can make you feel better.” And boy does she look stunning in this black high-slit number.

  • 15 of 20 Sonia Chew

Looking fierce and fabulous, Sonia rocked her camo print ensemble above. Also, kudos for making it look so effortless to walk in the sand in those gladiator heels.

  • 16 of 20 Germaine Tan

Germaine took advantage of the cool weather to dress up in a street style-worthy ensemble of logo turtle neck top and leather pants when she hit the town. Doesn't she look like she's in another country?

  • 17 of 20 Tay Ying

Shorts with blazer? Why not! Tay Ying showed us how the two opposite pieces can look cool — edgy even — by styling them with knee-high boots when she checked out Coach's pop-up concept store.

  • 18 of 20 Bonnie Loo

Looking incredibly sweet, Bonnie’s cheerleader-meets-girl next door outfit caught our attention while scrolling through Instagram. We especially love that she went the extra mile in the accessories department with ‘B’ earrings. Cute.

  • 19 of 20 Dick Lee

Does Dick ever get tired of colours and prints? We don't think so. With the clashing colours, lavish prints and designer pieces, Dick is proof that fashion is meant to be fun and mood-lifting.

  • 20 of 20 Kimberly Chia

Dressed in cute asymmetric halter top with black mini skort, Kimberly looks all set for her upcoming getaway.
