Netizens Surprised At How Simple Fei Yu-Ching’s Home Is
Nothing to Marie Kondo here.
One thing we know for sure about veteran Taiwanese singer Fei Yu-Ching is that he is no hoarder now that an old video of the 66-year-old’s simple home has gone viral.
The star, who retired a year ago, lives alone in an apartment, and has minimalistic approach to home decor.
His walls are painted white, and are left bare except for the occasional Chinese painting.
Yu-ching's spacious living room is free from clutter and only has traditional Chinese rosewood furniture. Looks real cosy, huh?
His love for Oriental furniture and interior design can also be seen in his display of faux terracotta warriors next to the windows.
While it’s unclear how many bedrooms there are in the apartment, the video revealed that the singer has a mahjong room. And it's apparently one of the most used rooms in the house.
His bedroom is also decorated with just the bare necessities.
What’s noticeably missing from his house are photos of him and his loved ones, which netizens found puzzling.
One netizen commented that his place “looks a bit like a show flat because of how impersonal it is.”
But we guess it sparks joy for him?
