It’s no secret that real estate in most developed cities in China, namely Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, are super expensive.

For starters, Carina Lau’s Shanghai apartment that overlooks The Bund is estimated to be worth 100mil yuan (S$21mil).

Now, netizens are speculating about the cost of Li Ronghao, 36, and Rainie Yang’s Beijing apartment after the latter showed off the view from their home in a recent IG Story.

“The view outside our place is really beautiful, wrote Rainie, 37. She's not lying.

Instead of a concrete jungle many expected to see, the couple has an obstructed view of a park that netizens have deduced to be the Olympic Forest Park.

According to netizens, a two-bedroom 1195 sq ft apartment in the condo next to the park costs upwards of 12.1mil yuan (S$2.5mil).

Taking into consideration the massive size of the couple's home based on the pics she and Ronghao have shared in the past, netizens think the unit is likely to cost “the same or even more than Ronghao’s 30mil yuan (S$6.3mil), 11,300 sq ft mansion in Anhui.
