Jacelyn Tay And Her Son Had A Candlelit Celebration To Mark The End Of The School Term
He asked her if they should celebrate with whisky but they settled on lemonade in the end.
By now, we’re pretty well acquainted with Jacelyn Tay’s whip-smart nine-year-old son Zavier.
The proud mama often shares snippets of her conversations with Zavier, be it about his surprise experiments on various household items or him volunteering to get caned, Jacelyn’s posts recounting her interactions with Zavier never fail to intrigue.
On Friday (May 28), the 45-year-old took to IG to share another conversation she had with Zavier recently.
As it was the last day of the school term (hello, June holidays!), Zavier took the initiative to call up Jacelyn at work, requesting a celebration.
Here's how their convo went:
He called me, Mama tonight after you come back from office, let's have a whisky!”
Me: U wanna drink whisky with me?
Z: I want lemonade. [You] drink whisky.
Me: Oh... I quit drinking at home already.
Z: Then we both shall cheers on lemonade.”

But of course, their celebration wouldn’t have been complete without it being a candlelit occasion, which was what Zavier wanted.
And instead of conversing about what shenanigans and games to play during the holidays, mother and son talked about school, life and [Zavier’s] dreams of being a techpreneur” instead.
Wait, are you sure that Zavier’s not an adult stuck in a child’s body? Was anyone else that driven at the age of nine?
We can’t wait to see what he’ll get up to during the break.
