How well do you know the news? Test your knowledge.

Uh oh, looks like Chinese actress Angelababy might’ve stirred up new gossip once again.

The 30-year-old set tongues wagging when she recently appeared at the Busan International Film Festival in South Korea. According to sources, Angelababy is said to be looking to venture into kimchi-land as she's not getting hired for any acting jobs in China because people are tired of her sub-par acting skills. Not that anyone's being mean. Even her husband Huang Xiaoming, once revealed that he, too, felt that she's not a good actor.

There were also reports that during the film fest, Angelababy conducted herself with grace and poise when she met the Korean journos. In fact, she handled the situation so well that she was said to have impressed the Korean media, gaining more fans along the way.

It’s small victory for Angelababy, who’s been getting a ton of bad press back in China.

Like we mentioned earlier, the mother-of-one has received flak for her mediocre acting over the years. For example, her performance in Chinese drama Entrepreneurial Age turned her into a laughing stock, not to mention, a meme because of her overly exaggerated expressions.

And because Angelababy is one of China's most popular stars, getting her to front any production doesn’t come cheap, which has contributed to her lack of acting jobs.

To add salt to the wound, for her last acting gig, upcoming web series A Murderous Affair in Horizon Tower, Angelababy was relegated to playing second fiddle to the much less famous Chinese actress Yang Zishan.

3 of 3 Watching her step

It's said that this problem of Angelababy’s only started this July, when she and her manager went their separate ways. And without his help, she hasn't been able to land new dramas and endorsements.

Seems like it's been a tough year for the star, who apart from her career woes, also has to deal with incessant rumours that she and Xiaoming are headed for divorce.
