Hongkong actor Alex Man is one of the many Big-in-the-Nineties stars who are now gracing the malls of China, putting on atrium performances for their fans and members of the public.

And during one such gig, some fans got to go up on stage to present the 63-year-old actor with bouquets of flowers. For the most part, their interactions, which were all caught on video, were really sweet.

However, one particularly awkward interaction has now gone viral.

In the clip, a fan can be seen sharing a quick hug with Alex after presenting him with a bouquet. All’s good right?

Unfortunately, things quickly turned awkward when Alex leaned in towards the fan, like he was going in for a kiss. She then backed away from the star and seemed more interested in waving at the crowd.

Alex, who was still singing his song, mind you, didn't seem too pleased that his kiss was rejected. And so he brusquely returned her the bouquet.

    The video ended there abruptly. Unsurprisingly, it quickly went viral online and netizens had a lot to say about it.

    He returned her the flowers 'cos he didn't get to kiss her, observed one netizen, while another said that Alex has ruined his public image .

    However, one netizen wasn't all that surprised by what he witnessed. This old chap still hasn't changed this problem of his, read the comment.
