Netflix is throwing a mega virtual party and everyone is invited.

The streaming giant announced on Thursday (Aug 25) that it will be holding its first ever Tudum Global Fan event on Sept 25, 9am PT (Sept 26, 12am, SGT). For Singapore fans who might have trouble staying up late, you can catch it later at 11am SGT.

By the way, what’s ‘Tudum’? Well, that’s the spelling for the iconic sound that accompanies the Netflix logo.

During the three-hour livestream, talents from fan-favourite Netflix series, movies and specials will share exclusive news and first-look trailers and clips.

On the series side, fans can look out for interactive panels and conversations with the cast and creators of returning shows (Stranger Things, Bridgerton, The Witcher, The Crown, Money Heist) as well as new titles (Cowboy Bebop, The Sandman, The Witcher: Blood Origin).

And over on the movie side, the event will highlight upcoming blockbusters, including the Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead prequel Army of Thieves (Oct 29), the Idris Elba-led Western The Harder They Fall (Nov 3), the Dwayne Johnson-Gal Gadot-Ryan Reynolds-headlined actioner Red Notice (Nov 12), Halle Berry’s MMA-themed Bruised (Nov 24), and the Leonardo DiCaprio-Jennifer Lawrence-starring doomsday comedy Don’t Look Up (Dec 24).

There will also be a salute to Charlize Theron’s The Old Guard and Chris Hemsworth’s Extraction, Netflix’s biggest hits of 2020.

Tudum Global Fan Event will be broadcast across Netflix’s YouTube channels, plus Twitter and Twitch. Fans are also encouraged to co-stream and react to the event in real time on their Facebook, Twitch or YouTube channels.

Before the main show, there are special showcases on Korean and Indian series and films along with exciting anime content, kicking off at Aug 25, 5am PST (Aug 26, 8pm SGT).
