Quiz of the week

How well do you know the news? Test your knowledge.

In a bid to entice people to get out more, plenty of establishments all around Singapore have already doled out free parking. Now, they’re splashing out value-for-money deals and promotions to further drum up business. How timely, especially since the March holidays are just around the corner and every other major event seems to have been cancelled. So pack your hand sanitisers, gather the clan, and head out to these places for a breather… unless you’re sick, of course.

1 of 7 Sentosa: Free entry from Mar 14 to June 30, plus discounts on ticket prices for attractions

If your family holiday has been disrupted by the coronavirus crisis, there’s still a chance for a short getaway… to Sentosa. Usual entry to the island is $4 via the Sentosa Express or $6 if you’re entering by car, and free if you walk in via Sentosa Boardwalk.

What to do once you’re on the island? Zero in on bargains, obviously. Here are a few family-friendly options to consider.
- Kidzania Singapore: Free entry for one adult (worth $35) with every one usual-priced kid ticket ($62) purchased at the KidZania Singapore Ticketing Counters. Valid till Mar 31, excluding public holidays.
