An Immersive Disney Pop-Up Exhibition Is Coming To Singapore Soon — It Originates From Disneyland In California
Mickey and friends are coming to town.
Disney fans suffering from withdrawal symptoms from not being able to visit a Disneyland theme park for the past one-and-a-half years will soon get some sort of reprieve — in the form of an immersive Disney pop-up exhibition that is set to arrive in Singapore later this year, its first Southeast Asia outing ever.
‘Pop-Up Disney! A Mickey Celebration in Singapore’ will be held from Nov 19, 2021 to Mar 20, 2022. Spanning over 1,350 sqm at Suntec Convention Centre, the exhibition first made its debut at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California.
There will be seven whimsical experiential rooms in this local iteration of the House of Mouse, which promises Instagrammable themed rooms bringing you photo opps galore.
But the highlight that’s unique to Singapore is probably a local thematic room, which organisers say will “celebrate Mickey in a truly Singaporean way”. More details will be released in November.
