Over 800 Gudetama, Hello Kitty And My Melody Inflatables Will Take Over Sentosa From March 16-24
Free entry into Sentosa for Singapore residents during the March holidays. Whoop.
Parents looking for activities to occupy their kids (read: burn their energy) during the March holidays should probably head to Sentosa from Mar 16-24, especially since there’s free entry for Singapore residents during this period. Yes, really.
The island’s massive giant inflatable playground festival, the annual Sentosa FunFest, is back at Palawan Beach. This time, it’s the Sanrio characters’ turn for some fun in the sun. We’re talking 800 Gudetama, Hello Kitty and My Melody inflatables scattered around the island. Expect plenty of fun and so many photo opps, your phone’s probably gonna run out of memory space.
Remember how We Bare Bears — all 300 of them cute bouncy inflatables — invaded Sentosa during last year’s March holidays?
Keep your eyes peeled all over Palawan beach for a sea of 888 Gudetama inflatables measuring 0.9m to 1.5m that’ll tower over you… if you’re a kid or a, erm, petite adult. Looking for something larger? There’s also a 3m-tall Gudetama that we reckon is gonna be the biggest Insta-hit. The stretch from the Beach Station to walkways at Palawan Beach will have eight Hello Kitty and My Melody inflatables that are up to 4m-tall.
There’ll also be a slew of bouncy obstacle courses, ginormous slides and inflatable mazes for the whole family to burn calories at.
Rest those muscles and unwind at daily screenings of family-friendly flicks like Frozen, Minions and The Secret Life of Pets, at 7.30pm at Palawan Green.
Sentosa FunFest 2019 is on Mar 16-24, 10am-7pm, at Palawan Green in Sentosa. Free entry into Sentosa via Sentosa Express and Sentosa gantry (drive-in) for Singapore residents. More info at www.sentosa.com.sg/funfest.
