Quiz of the week

How well do you know the news? Test your knowledge.

Once you’ve moved in to a unit at the upcoming OLÁ executive condominium (EC), you may never want to leave.

Simply because you won’t have a need to. Touted as Singapore's first luxury EC, Ola comes replete with a plethora of bells and whistles (you'll see in a bit). Slated to be completed in Dec 2023, the EC will be nestled in Sengkang, close to MRT stations, Sengkang Riverside Park and malls. It’ll boast 548 units, a mix of two- to five-bedroom penthouses ranging from 775 to 1,722 sqft. Final pricing will be revealed on Mar 19.

1 of 6 Ola! What's up?

You don’t get branded a luxury EC without some fancy flourishes. And OLA has plenty planned, many of which are firsts in Singapore.

To foster community spirit, there are 12 lounges and clubhouses, and over 500 hours of free activities organised yearly. These range from yoga and baking to kids football lessons by Real Madrid Football Club and aqua taekwondo. And if that’s not enough, there’s a 115m elevated forest walkway replete with a sensory garden, biodiversity pond, and even a dedicated pet playground.

Residents also need not physically go to a clinic if they fall sick. OLA is the first residential project to offer telehealth services, that is, virtual medical consultation with accredited doctors from the comfort of a kiosk in the EC. The service is free for the first two years.

Each unit will also be kitted out with energy-efficient Samsung smart home starter kits, including digital locks, smart gas heater, motorised blinds, among other remotely-controlled compatible smart devices. How’s that for high tech?

2 of 6 A 4-bedroom show unit

A selection of three- and four-bedroom show units will be open to public from Mar 19. But before that, get a sneak peek here, starting with this four-bedder showroom was clearly inspired by the whimsical Mad Hatter’s Tea Party.

These units also include an island in the kitchen, something you hardly get even in condo kitchen designs.

There’s plenty of space for the whole family with two bedrooms, a master bedroom, and even junior master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom as well.

3 of 6 Inside a three-bedroom apartment at Ola

The living space in this three-bedder is complemented by a balcony. But there’s more than meets the eye.

A different perspective: The balcony extends all the way to one of the bedrooms too.

Mealtimes are made much more elegant in a space like this.

4 of 6 Wait, there’s more to see

This three-bedder unit gives you an idea of what home feels like for folks who prefer a vibrant, whimsical décor.

5 of 6 Home is where the art is

Much of Ola is inspired by Spanish culture, which is why the developers have commissioned Spanish artist Eva Armisen to create unique masterpieces to be displayed at the lobbies of the building.

  • 6 of 6 Wanna see more? Pencil in these dates: Mar 19-20

If your interest has been piqued, you’ll probably want to mosey over to the Ola Sales Gallery on Mar 19-20 (show units will be open to the general public on Mar 19) for the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, where there’ll be snacks, drinks and a whole lot of whimsy at this show flat viewing for the general public and e-applicants.

The OLÁ showroom is at 70 Anchorvale Crescent. Open daily 10am-7pm. The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party is on Mar 19-20, 5pm-9pm. Final pricing to be revealed on Mar 19. More info at http://ola.homes/.
