Netflix has dropped the trailer for its most expensive film to date.

Red Notice, said to cost the streaming giant US$200 million (S$269 mil), stars Dwayne Johnson as FBI profiler John Hartley who teams up with Ryan Reynolds’ art thief Nolan Booth to catch another art thief, The Bishop, played by Gal Gadot.

In the trailer, Reynolds — surprise, surprise — wisecracks a lot. When he meets a leather-wearing Johnson, he asks, “Where’d you get that jacket?... It’s a statement piece. Somewhere, there’s a very nude cow whispering.”

What follows is a series of shooting, car chases, explosions and more wisecracks.

Come to think of it, the whole movie — written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber of Skyscraper and Dodgeball — feels like… Hobbs & Shaw Part II. Or is it just us? Check out the trailer and decide for yourself.Red Notice lands on Netflix on Nov 12.
