It's no secret that 41-year-old Taiwanese model-actress Sonia Sui’s family is her priority.

Ever since she became a mother in 2015, her career has taken a backseat as she's focusing on raising her three kids Max, six, Lucy, four, and Olie, two, and she regularly takes to social media to share snippets of her family life.

On Thursday (Oct 28), Sonia wrote a wordy post on Facebook about how her husband, businessman Tony Hsieh, 43, doesn’t help out with the housework.

And she says she doesn't mind it ‘cos he takes care of a lot of “small but important” matters when it comes to their kids, such as brushing their teeth, and getting Max and Lucy ready for school every morning.

However, one day, Tony saw her spring cleaning and decided to help out.

He took a broom to sweep the living room and ended up “creating a hole in the TV screen”.

Turns out, Tony had wanted to sweep the area around the TV, so he shifted a skate scooter, which was next to it, to another spot.

However, it wasn’t placed properly and ended up leaning against the TV screen, causing a small but irreparable crack. P/S: All they see is a black screen when they turn the TV on now.

I can only treat the TV as though it’s a decoration in my home. I still don’t know what to do with it,” lamented Sonia, adding that she has added TV to the list of appliances she needs to buy for her new home.

“I feel, sometimes it’s not necessarily a bad thing if your partner doesn’t do housework,” she added.

Netizens sympathised with Sonia, saying that “when guys help out, it creates more work” and that not helping is the best kind of help .

There were also fans who joked that it was smart of Tony to “sacrifice a TV in exchange for not doing housework”, and that she should consider getting a projector instead so if future mishaps happen, Tony will only have to “fix the wall”.
