Here’s a new inductee into the ‘ Unbelievably Youthful-Looking Celeb’ Hall of Fame —Taiwanese actress Josie Leung. The actress, whose Chinese name is Liang Jiarong, celebrated her 50th birthday on Wednesday (Aug 25).

And if you had to read Josie’s age again, well, you’re not alone.

'Cos let's be honest, Josie, who made her showbiz debut in 1991, does not look 50 at all.

Or as one netizen put it: “If you said you’re 30, I’d believe it”.

Josie’s best known for acting in the 1998 drama, Sun Plants. She recently appeared in the 2021 drama, The Arc Of Life.

According to reports, Josie has a long-time boyfriend, whom she’s been dating for the past 10 years. However, it appears that she has no intentions to tie the knot, having shared in an interview that she “doesn't believe in marriage”. She also has no plans to have kids even though she likes children.

Josie also mused about turning the big 5-0 on Instagram.

She wrote: “I'm actually not a big birthday person, but I’m 50… It really does feel different from being 30 or 40. It’s not about the numbers, but rather, after going through so many years, having lost, loved, suffered, as well as been emotional and happy, I’ve experienced more than I did when I was younger, and these experiences have also been carved even deeper in my heart. In the future, I only wish to be safe and healthy and for everyone too.”

“You look just as good as you did in the past,” wrote one netizen wrote, while another is convinced that the actress is “not 50 but obviously 28 years old”.
