100 Years of Solitude! minimART! Shout out!
Here’s a plug for two things.
Shout-out #1
Apparently, the recent Huayi Fest show One Hundred Years of Solitude… by Drama Box and Zuni Icosahedron has gotten people so worked up that after that heated post-show talk during the fest itself, they’ve gotten requests for another post-show talk.
It happens on Feb 15, Wednesday, 7.30pm to 9.30pm, at Drama Box, 14A-C Trengganu Street in Chinatown. You’ll need to register at weare [at] dramabox.org (weare[at]dramabox[dot]org) as it’s on a first-come, first-served basis. Call 6324 5434 for details.
Shout-out #2
minimART – which showcases young contemporary artists in Singapore – is looking for submissions for its second edition in April.
They’re looking for submissions in “exhibition, video art and performance art”. Wesley Leon Aroozoo is curating the video art/experimental video bit while Daniela Beltrani’s handling performance art. For more details on the event, co-presented by The Substation, go here or here.
Deadline is on Feb 25.
