Night Lights 2011! Jellyfish! Clouds! Cars!
Last week, it was performing arts galore at Voyage Night Festival. It's visual art's turn as part two kicks off this Friday with Singapore Art Museum's Night Lights 2011. Eight works (mostly light installations) are up at School Of The Arts, National Museum of Singapore and SAM. We're assuming it's going to be less hectic than the previous week, but if walking around and gawking at some really nice art -- or going to museums, for that matter -- aren't your thing, there will also be film screenings at NMS and SAM, a flea market at SAM at 8Q, and music at SAM (clubby stuff on Friday, jazz on Saturday). Curious? Scroll down for a preview. A bit of The Fish Tree installation by BIBI (Fabrice Cahoreau) at SOTA. Supposed to be this, ahem, school of fish going up against another, ahem ahem, school of fish hanging in a tree. With fishy projections going on at the same time.
