One of the things I particularly like about this year’s line-up is the number of small, experiential, site-specific shows. They’re like a whiff of fresh air in these types of big festivals. You’ve got a bunch this year and today, I caught my first two, which somewhat echo each other’s themes: Lan Fang Chronicles 2012 and Ciudades Paralelas (Parallel Cities): Hotel—Hotel Maids. Both get my first fest thumbs up.
