It’s that time of the year again. The National Arts Council is accepting nominations for the Cultural Medallion and Young Artist Award until March 30. We’ve heard that some changes are afoot regarding the whole process. One of it is pretty clear on the website – that self-nominations are not accepted. Correct me if I’m wrong but I recall that it was previously okay to do so. This makes things a bit more interesting, with the onus on other folks to participate. Of course, that doesn’t discount the possibility of artists campaigning for themselves. Anyway, details for the CM and YAA can be found here and here, respectively.
