Grosvenor House
Those who want royal treatment for their tykes may want to shell out US$3,500 (S$4,470) for a night in a Suite Dreams at this luxury hotel. It’s designed by famed nursery outfitter Dragons of Wall Street, known for creating nurseries for Prince William, Prince Harry, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. The suite is furnished with hand-crafted furniture and toys as well as baby gear like a US$4,500 bassinet, a nappy changer illustrated with Beatrix Potter characters and a Silver Cross Balmoral pram. A concierge is also on standby to bring your precious little one food — from an organic baby menu, of course.
Buckingham Palace
Kate and Wills intend to share their birth annoucement with the public. Within minutes of the birth, a proclamation signed by doctors who delivered the baby will be rushed from the ward, handed to a waiting driver and driven through the streets of London to be displayed on a wooden gold easel at the Privy Purse Door at the front of Buckingham Palace.
St Mary’s Hospital
Join the frenzy outside St Mary’s Hospital in the Paddington neighbourhood where reporters and photographers are camping out. Kate is set to give birth at the Lindo wing of the hospital. Don’t forget to bring your own stepladder to get a better view.
