Singapore artists and galleries headed down to the inaugural Art Basel Hong Kong art fair; this year’s Asian Festival Of Children’s Content kicked off in Singapore; and young artist Sarah Choo bagged a Photographer Of The Year Award in the fine art (single image) category at the 4th Pollux Awards. Anthony Chen’s Ilo Ilo screening at the Cannes Film Festival also got a standing ovation from the audience, and a thumbs up from Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, who congratulated the film-maker on his Facebook page.
