The one thing better than being at the Oscars

If there is one thing better than actually being at the Oscars, it is watching the TODAY’s features team live-blog the entire show. I mean, why bother with dressing up and worrying about what you are going to say when you accidentally-on purpose bump into Brad Pitt at the loo, when you can read what TODAY flick chick Genevieve Loh, Showbiz Sista May Seah, fashion police Hon Jing Yi and the all-round horrible Phin Wong have to say about this year’s fashion flubs, speech snafus and other ground-breaking “Adele Dazeem” moments?

If there is one thing better than actually being at the Oscars, it is watching the TODAY’s features team live-blog the entire show. I mean, why bother with dressing up and worrying about what you are going to say when you accidentally-on purpose bump into Brad Pitt at the loo, when you can read what TODAY flick chick Genevieve Loh, Showbiz Sista May Seah, fashion police Hon Jing Yi and the all-round horrible Phin Wong have to say about this year’s fashion flubs, speech snafus and other ground-breaking “Adele Dazeem” moments?

And why is TODAY’s Oscar live-blog going to be better than any other? Well, if anything, we were certainly more involved in some of this year’s Best Picture contenders than you can imagine. Like, really.

For one, Phin grew hair on his chest for his ground-breaking role in a movie about a man and his gun.

Gen navigated awkward body proportions and age/gender-inappropriate make-up for Boyhood.

May showed us how an unusually small head can contain an unusually large brain.

Hon and JK Simmons exchanged black polo tee fashion tips for Whiplash.

Phin enthralled the heck out of Felicity Jones with his theories about everything.

Gen, May, Hon and Phin became the creepy Asians of The Grand Budapest Hotel…

But not before we made Michael Keaton, Edward Norton and Emma Stone really excited about working with us.
