SINGAPORE — YouTube sensations Alex Goot and Against The Current will be co-headlining their first concert in Singapore in August with a concert at SCAPE The Ground Theatre. And fans couldn’t ask for a better pairing.

Alex Goot, a one-man singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from New York, gained a religious following in early 2010 after he began posting covers of popular pop songs on YouTube. Thanks to original hits like Bright Lights and The Real You, his channel has a subscription of over 1.8 million and his videos have been viewed over 200 million times.

The three-piece pop-rock band Against The Current (ATC), comprising of Chissy Costanza, Daniel Gow and William Ferri, recently released their debut Infinity EP. The trio is known for their soulful guitar-piano acoustic covers of popular hits like Taylor Swift’s All Too Well, as well as their frequent musical collaborations with Goot.
