Chef David Thompson’s Nahm takes top spot
SINGAPORE — In a night filled with more than a few expected surprises, Chef David Thompson’s four-year-old Bangkok restaurant Nahm took top honours at the 2014 Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants awards today (Feb 24).
SINGAPORE — In a night filled with more than a few expected surprises, Chef David Thompson’s four-year-old Bangkok restaurant Nahm took top honours at the 2014 Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants awards today (Feb 24).
The Australian-born scholar of Thai cuisine nudged past last year’s top performer Narisawa (Tokyo) for the title of The S.Pellegrino Asia’s Best Restaurant. Narisawa took second spot this year.
In only its second year, winners were unveiled at a ceremony held at Capella Hotel, Singapore.
