Priced at S$58++ per person, inclusive of a glass of Pataka Punch Mocktail, this Diwali set menu takes diners through 10 dishes featuring one soup, three kebabs, five main courses and one dessert. Highlights include the murgh zafrani pankhi kebab, featuring morsels of chicken delicately flavoured with saffron and stuffed with cottage cheese, and the crab masala — crab meat cooked in coconut milk tempered with curry leaves and mustard seeds. Vegetables dishes that demand equal attention include the methi makai malai, in which sweet corn and fresh fenugreek leaves are cooked in rich ginger and garlic cream. A vegetarian option is also available.

Diners here might want to take advantage of a specially designed degustation menu, priced at S$79++ per person, for a taste of 11 tantalising dishes. The non-vegetarian option starts with a Malvani spice-marinated tiger prawn, followed by a minced chicken kebab cooked in a tandoor, and then a chicken and almond soup. Highlights from the selection of mains include lamb cooked in Goan vindaloo sauce, fresh sea bass with a puffed rice crust in coastal style gravy, and spinach and cottage cheese dumpling in smoked tomato sauce, which can be eaten with navratan pulao (a rice with vegetable dish) and naan. Desserts include a fig and pistachio kulfi.

Feast on a five-course meal that is not only indulgent but is also bursting with nutrients. Start with classic appetisers such as chicken tikka (chicken thigh marinated in yoghurt cream), and traditional lamb kebabs spiced with saffron and mint, there are also griddled scallops in a green chilli and coconut sauce to start. For the mains, there are both chettinad prawns and methi murg (chicken cooked with fenugreek leaves) and a medley of wholesome sides — from tempered black lentils to pearl millet and corn risotto served with an accompanying Maharashtrian curried dish, to crispy bitter gourd.

If you are looking for something out of the ordinary, all the dishes on the restaurant’s Diwali menu this year are new. For S$99++, the non-vegetarian menu starts with a few appetisers, including apple wood-smoked sweet potato and star fruit, and minced lamb stuffed with matured cheddar cheese and dried wild berries. Diners can then move on to a jackfruit dum biryani infused with pine kernel, and chicken simmered in a creamy sauce spiked with hint of cardamom. These are accompanied by dishes such as mustard leaves cooked in earthenware pots, and a combination of five lentils with burnt garlic, tempered with fresh baby spinach.
