SINGAPORE – Local food delivery service foodpanda will be offering free delivery for two weeks, to celebrate reaching 1,000 restaurants.

The promotion will start on Monday (May 9) at 6pm and run until Sunday (May 22) at 11.59pm.

New additions to the list of foodpanda’s partner restaurants include Wine Connection, Potato Head Folk, Chotto Matte, Sergeant Chicken Rice, Crave and Full Of Crab. The homegrown company, which celebrated its 4th anniversary last month, currently has 500,000 active customers, and now delivers in over 24 countries in Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Eastern Europe.

“Being able to offer our customers such a variety of dining options, with over 1,000 restaurants, is an amazing milestone for foodpanda. In the past year, not only have we increased restaurant choices, but we have also raised the bar with our service — with delivery times now at just 30 minutes’, said Emma Heap, managing director of foodpanda Singapore.

“We are very happy to celebrate this achievement in our home city by giving two weeks of free delivery to all Singaporeans,” added Ralf Wenzel, global co-founder and CEO at foodpanda.
