Amoy by Far East is the top rated hotel in Singapore
SINGAPORE — Can you guess which Singapore hotels travellers love most? Clue: It’s not your usual brand names. Popular travel website Tripadvisor today announced its 2015 Travellers’ Choice awards for Hotels and the No 1 hotel in Singapore is Amoy by Far East, beating Capella (No 2) and the Raffles Hotel (No 3). Located within Far East Square and opened December 2013, Amoy by Far East also nabbed the Best Hotel for Service award. “We are honoured that Amoy Hotel has been recognised in this year’s Travellers’ Choice awards for Hotels. The hotel’s unique heritage styling has resonated with guests and credit must also go to the entire AMOY team for their passion, hard work and commitment,” said Arthur Kiong, chief executive officer for Far East Hospitality.

Another hotel newbie that made a splash is Lloyd’s Inn which took the Top Bargain Hotel in Singapore award.
It reopened last year after a revamp, oozing new minimalist chic appeal.
The Travellers’ Choice awards are based on the quality and quantity of traveller reviews and opinions and traveller ratings specific to each award category.
