A TAPESTRY OF SACRED MUSIC
This annual festival by Esplanade – Theatres On The Bay, which celebrates sacred art forms through music, meditation sessions, workshops and performances, returns for its eighth edition this weekend. Free and ticketed events include the Glory Gospel Singers from New York, the Buddhist Music Ensemble of Zhihua Temple from Beijing and Alafia (Peace), an intercultural performance by master drummer Dudu Tucci (Sao Paulo/Berlin) and Bloco Singapura (Singapore), with vocals by Mariana Viana (Salvador, Bahia).
