10 men taken to hospital after accident on Upper Bukit Timah Road; second lorry crash in 4 days
SINGAPORE — Ten men were taken to the hospital after an accident involving a lorry along Upper Bukit Timah Road on Saturday (April 24) morning.
A video of the incident circulating on social media shows the lorry lying on its side.

SINGAPORE — Ten men were taken to the hospital after an accident involving a lorry along Upper Bukit Timah Road on Saturday (April 24) morning.
This is the second lorry accident to take place in four days, following a fatal crash along the Pan-Island Expressway which resulted in the death of two migrant workers.
Tuesday's accident had sparked fresh calls from netizens and migrant worker advocacy groups for the authorities to forbid employers from ferrying workers on the back of lorries.
In response to TODAY’s queries, the police said they were alerted to an accident along Upper Bukit Timah Road at 7.19am on Saturday.
A 35-year-old male lorry driver, along with nine other male passengers aged between 26 and 50, were conscious when taken to the hospital.
All 10 men were taken to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, the Singapore Civil Defence Force said.
