The couple, who were charged on Sept 17 with the two-and-a-half-year-old’s murder, cannot be named due to a court order to protect the identities of their other children.
Neighbours told TODAY that the couple has at least three other children.
The couple are accused of killing their daughter at Block 52 Chin Swee Road in March 2014 but the girl’s remains were discovered only last month.
Reports by Chinese newspapers said that the toddler’s remains were found in a metal pot.
