COE prices fall across all categories after May 23 bidding exercise

SINGAPORE — Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices fell across all categories at the end of the latest bidding exercise on Thursday (May 23).
Premiums for small cars (up to 1,600cc & 97kW) went down by 26.44 per cent to S$27,000.
Large cars (above 1,600cc or 97kW) saw premiums go down from S$48,010 in the previous bidding exercise to S$42,564.
Meanwhile, goods vehicles and buses saw COE prices go down by 4.06 per cent to S$27,400.
In the motorcycle category, premiums went down to S$3,202, compared to S$3,352 in the previous bidding exercise.
Finally, in the open category, which can be used for any types of vehicles, premiums went down by 10.48 per cent to S$47,000.
