COE prices fall across the board after Aug 21 bidding exercise

SINGAPORE — Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices fell across all categories at the end of the latest bidding exercise on Wednesday (Aug 21).
Premiums for small cars (up to 1,600cc & 97kW) went down by 2.47 per cent to S$31,917.
Large cars (above 1,600cc or 97kW) saw premiums go down from S$40,001 in the previous bidding exercise to S$38,602.
For goods vehicles and buses, COE prices dropped 4.67 per cent to S$26,501.
In the motorcycle category, premiums fell to S$4,301, down from S$4,400 in the previous bidding exercise.
In the open category, which can be used for any types of vehicles, premiums went down by 1.26 per cent to S$40,002.
