The incident reportedly occurred near the junction of Pasir Ris Drive 3 and Pasir Ris Rise on Saturday morning.

The video showed two cyclists on the road, with one riding in the middle of the lane in front of the lorry, causing the driver to reportedly honk at him.

After stopping at a traffic junction, the same cyclist did not move to the left side of the lane when he rode off.

He moved to the left after a few metres, but hit the left side mirror of the lorry with his hand, causing it to dislodge and fall off.

The driver then swerved into the cyclist, knocking him off his bicycle and onto the grass patch next to the road.

The other cyclist is seen stopping to help the other rider.

Media reports said that an ambulance was called to the scene but the cyclist, who suffered redness on his arms, refused to be taken to the hospital.

Netizens who commented on the video disagreed over who was at fault in the incident. Some asked if it was right for the cyclist to “get rowdy” and felt that the lorry driver was not at fault, while others said that the driver's action was dangerous — regardless of the provocation — and could have resulted in more serious consequences.
