Fire breaks out in Sengkang condo bedroom; 20 people evacuated, no one hurt
SINGAPORE — A fire broke out in a bedroom at the Compass Heights condominium in Sengkang on Monday (April 26) afternoon, causing the room's window panes to shatter.

SINGAPORE — A fire broke out in a bedroom at the Compass Heights condominium in Sengkang on Monday (April 26) afternoon, causing the room's window panes to shatter.
Two people in the eighth-floor unit were unharmed and did not require medical help, said the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), which was alerted to the fire at 12.05pm.
Firefighters put out the fire with a water jet. There were no reported injuries.
As a precaution, police officers evacuated about 20 people from neighbouring units at the condominium, which is beside Sengkang MRT Station.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
