Great World City and Jem malls, StarHub shop at Tampines Mall among places visited by Covid-19 cases while infectious
SINGAPORE — A StarHub retail outlet at Tampines Mall, several shops at Great World City mall and an ActiveSG gym in Jurong Lake Gardens are added to the list of public places that had been visited by Covid-19 cases during their infectious period.

SINGAPORE — A StarHub retail outlet at Tampines Mall, several shops at Great World City mall and an ActiveSG gym in Jurong Lake Gardens are added to the list of public places that had been visited by Covid-19 cases during their infectious period.
In its evening update on the coronavirus situation in Singapore, the Ministry of Health (MOH) said on Tuesday (July 7) that the infectious persons had visited:
Jurong Lake Gardens Gym ActiveSG at 30 Yuan Ching Road on June 24 between 9.10am and 10.40am
Specialty shop Ban Kah Hiang Trading at 107 Jalan Bukit Merah on June 27 between 2pm and 2.45pm
StarHub outlet at Tampines Mall on June 28 between 2.40pm and 4.30pm
Cheng Hoo Thian Restaurant OSL at 34 Whampoa West on June 28 between 7.40pm and 8.45pm
Great World City mall at 1 Kim Seng Promenade on June 30 between 7.35pm and 9.15pm
Mustafa Centre on July 1 between 6.30pm and 8.15pm
Jurong Point on July 4 between 3pm and 3.40pm
FairPrice Hub at 1 Joo Koon Circle on July 4 between 7.15pm and 8.15pm
Jem mall at Jurong East on July 5 between 11.15am and 12.45pm
MOH said that it would have already notified individuals who had been identified as close contacts of the confirmed cases.
"As a precautionary measure, persons who had been at these locations during the specified timings should monitor their health closely for 14 days from their date of visit," it said.
"They should see a doctor promptly if they develop symptoms of acute respiratory infection (such as cough, sore throat and runny nose), as well as fever and loss of taste or smell, and inform the doctor of their exposure history."
Members of the public do not need to avoid places where confirmed cases of Covid-19 have been, MOH said.
The National Environment Agency will engage the management of the affected premises to provide guidance on cleaning and disinfection, it added.
On Tuesday, MOH announced 157 new Covid-19 cases in Singapore. Of these, three were imported cases, 20 were identified as cases in the community while the remaining 134 infections were linked to foreign workers living in dormitories.
