Mandatory Covid-19 test for residents, workers at 4 blocks in Henderson Crescent and Lengkok Bahru

SINGAPORE — The authorities are investigating likely Covid-19 transmission at Henderson Crescent and Lengkok Bahru, and will conduct mandatory testing for residents and staff members of shops there.

SINGAPORE — The authorities are investigating likely Covid-19 transmission at Henderson Crescent and Lengkok Bahru, and will conduct mandatory testing for residents and staff members of shops there.

The Ministry of Health (MOH) said on Sunday (June 27) that four people infected with the coronavirus have been detected in three households at 103 Henderson Crescent.

Covid-19 viral fragments were also detected in wastewater samples collected from 55, 56 and 57 Lengkok Bahru.

Epidemiological investigations are ongoing to determine linkages and the source of transmission.

103 HENDERSON CRESCENT

MOH will conduct mandatory Covid-19 testing for all residents of 103 Henderson Crescent.

This will be held at the pavilion at 104B Henderson Crescent on Monday and Tuesday between 9am and 4pm.

Testing is optional for those who have tested negative for Covid-19 from June 23 onwards.

MOH will also conduct voluntary testing for visitors and those who have interacted with residents of 103 Henderson Crescent between June 7 and 26.

Testing will be conducted by appointment only at designated regional screening centres on Monday and Tuesday, and at the pavilion at 104B Henderson Crescent on Tuesday between 9am and 4pm.

55, 56 and 57 LENGKOK BAHRU

MOH will conduct mandatory Covid-19 testing for all residents and workers from shops at 55, 56 and 57 Lengkok Bahru.

This will be held at the void deck of 53 Lengkok Bahru on Monday and Tuesday between 9am and 4pm.

Testing is optional for those who have tested negative for Covid-19 from June 23 onwards.

MOH will also conduct voluntary testing for visitors and those who have interacted with residents, as well as owners and staff members of shops at the three blocks between June 12 and 26.

Testing will be conducted by appointment only at designated regional screening centres on Monday and Tuesday and at the void deck of 53 Lengkok Bahru on Wednesday between 9am and 4pm.

Those who would like to book an appointment or need information on the alternate test locations may visit https://go.gov.sg/55-57-lb-covid-19-testing.

All residents are to go for the tests with their national registration identity cards for identification purposes.

"Residents are also advised to monitor their health closely and consult a doctor immediately if they feel unwell," MOH said.

"Those who are still awaiting their test results are advised to minimise social interactions as much as possible."
