A 26-year-old male driver was arrested for drink-driving and dangerous driving causing death.

In response to TODAY’s queries on Wednesday, the police said that they were alerted to the accident involving a lorry and a motorcycle along the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) towards Tuas at about 10.10pm that day.

The accident occurred after the Upper Jurong exit of the PIE.

In a Facebook post on Jan 13, a woman who said she is the sister of the motorcyclist appealed for information and witnesses in relation to the “severe bike accident”.

The motorcyclist was identified in the Facebook post as Muhammad Musharraf Abdul Razak.

TODAY understands that Muhammad Musharraf was an operationally ready national serviceman with the Singapore Police Force.

Ms Salimah also posted a photo of a passport stained with blood, purportedly belonging to Muhammad Musharraf.

She said: “To my baby I always (dote) on, my second big brother… you left me just like that.”
